The Spatiotemporal Research group consists of colleagues across various univerisities and countries.

There is a core group for Brazil where we have begun work and have obtained results (journal article submitted) and given various talks (CARPHA conference, FIOCRUZ seminar, amongst others).  The Brazil core group members are: Jessie Khaki (based in Malawi), Stephen Villejo (based in the UK), Luciana Brondi (based in the UK), Noely Fabiana Oliveira de Moura (based in Brazil), Claudio Henriques (based in Brazil), Ewelina Rydzewska-Fazekas (based in the UK), Kethika Kulleperuma (based in Canada Arctic) and Andargachew Mulu (based in Ethiopia).

Our work now includes extending the initial research (which was funded by the Wellcome Trust iTPA) towards two additional papers.  We will also be conducting a panel discussion at the Health is Global Conference (2026) in Edinburgh

For the Bangladesh core group, we have submitted a UKRI application to fund proposed work and for the Ethiopia core group, we are in the early stages of developing a grant application.
